The ONLY official film festival in Australia initiated by China’s State government, the China Australia International Film Festival (CAIFF) has full support of Screen Australia and Palace Cinemas assuring the highest level of communications in film industry between China and Australia. CAIFF will feature a Film Forum for industry professionals, an Opening Ceremony attended by China’s top stars and filmmakers, Premiere screenings and a season of the most exciting new films.

Held at The Star Casino’s Event Centre on 12 October 2015, the Pageant was hosted by TVB personalities Maria, Bob, Raymond Wong and Luk Hao Ming and sponsored by TVB Australia and OZWEAR UGG. The theme for this year’s Pageant was ‘Carnival Paradise’ and the backdrop was decorated with giant sweets to match. The finalists were judged by Maria, Raymond Wong, Mr. Li JP OAM from the Australia China Economics, Trade & Culture Association, Miss Tang from Way In Network, 1996 Miss Hong Kong runner-up Chillie Poon and Derek Lo from Canaan Lawyers.
